For every signed Civil Commitment, the volunteers of the project will sow a tree, this way adding members to the effort to fight the climate change.
Panama, on August 13, 2009 – In order to wake up initiative in the Panamanian citizens to reinforce the campaign against the climate change, the Movement Waters down and Youth, shaped by 14 youth organizations at national level, introduces today, for the first time in Panama and in the region, the “Civil Agreement with the Earth”. This innovator proposal of environmental campaign to raise public awareness, impelled by hundreds of volunteers in all the provinces of Panama, facilitates to the persons who sign the Civil Agreement a series of hardware that, across a list of simple daily actions, will allow them to help to diminish the environmental trace of our country. From now on volunteers of the campaign will tackle a citizens' search, companies and Panamanian organizations ready to commit themselves with the ground. For every signed Civil Commitment, the volunteers of the project will sow a tree, this way adding members to the effort to fight the climate change. The volunteers of the Civil Agreement will be present in next fairs, conferences and activities to receive the commitment of all the interested citizens. Also, they will tackle approaches to companies and schools at national level to achieve that on March 22, 2010 there has been reached the signature of at least 30 thousand commitments in Panama. Foundation Droplets of blood and life for the children.

On February 20, 2009 it was granted by means of Solved Not. 087-36 personería juridical to the Foundation Droplets of Blood and Life for the Children by means of a formal act did delivery of the documents to himself on March 12, 2009 across the Vice-minister of Government and Justice Severino Mejía.
During this act, the Vice-minister referred to the importance that it has involving to the whole country in the voluntary blood donation, and that these donations could come to the indigenous areas that have big needs and right to be a part of a program as important as the fact that the volunteers of the foundation and the personnel of the blood Bank of the Hospital of the Child realize.
The foundation will be collaborating with diverse governmental entities and with other blood banks of the country offering chats in the schools to make aware the children and Panamanian young people of the importance of the voluntary blood donation of regular form.
The Foundation Droplets of Blood and Life for the Children is formed by a group of volunteers, who have offered his dedication, effort and knowledge in the development of activities of welfare, social and cultural character providing, across donations, modern technology to the blood Bank of the Hospital of the Child.
Orphanage San Jose of Malambo

Close to the city of Panama, in Arraiján, on the banks of the old Inter-American highway, the Hearth is San Jose of Malambo, whose principal mission is to protect and to attend to 150 children between helpless and battered. The Hearth Malambo is attended by religious catholics and personal layman. His budget of governmental help comes down to 10 thousand monthly dollars to attend on this quantity of children, orphans and patients.
The Hearth San Jose of Malambo celebrated 118 continuous years of orphans worked with children and girls, with patients of VIH, who have been victims of abuse and sexual development, between other cases of social risk.
