AGREEMENT SIGNS SHELL PANAMA WITH PRO CHILDREN OF THE DARIEN

Shell Panama signed a cooperation agreement with the Foundation Pro Niños of the Darién, like part of the social work that it takes finished the company and his collaborators.
The family of Shell Panama reaffirms his commitment with the Panamanian childhood and feels liked of being able to collaborate with the school meals and pre students of the Foundation Pro Niños of the Darién and this way improve the conditions of nutrition of the children darienitas across a balanced feeding.
The agreement was signed by mister Marco Luigi Pezzotti, General Manager of Shell Panama, Marisín of Avila, the President of Foundation Pro Niños of the Darién.

Under the title “The Big Leakage: Learning to live in Positive” through the Foundation Small house of Mausi and in organization with APEDE, they will realize on Thursday, the 3rd of September a magisterial conference dictated by Dr. Fernando Araújo Perdomo, author of the Book “The Trapecista”. Book that narrates his reflections of 6 years that it was in captivity for the FARC and as it managed to fight for his freedom before any adversity.

The Foundation Carol Vallarino of Montenegro known affectionately like Small house of Mausi is a foundation that takes 13 years providing temporary hostel to patients with cancer and his accompanists, without social security and of scarce resources recounted by the National Oncological Institute (ION).

This conference is part of the activities that realizes the Foundation Small house of Mausi annually, with the target to collect funds to strengthen the hostel and to offer to him to his guests a cozy ambience for his prompt recovery. Making his mission real for those who “come of out, sleep inside”.

Dr. Fernando Araújo inspired by his testimony of life decides to publish in the year 2008 his book ”The Trapecista” to share with thousands of persons the positivism attitude and as it managed to find a light in the way that only was projecting darkness. Dr. Araújo was the Minister of the State and Chancellor of the Republic of Colombia. At present he is a member of the National Direction of the Conservative Party for popular election and a presidential precandidate for the Conservative Party.

This event undoubtedly will be an enriching experience that will allow to the assistants to feed the spirit and simultaneously to contribute with a noble cause. THE ACTIVE CLUB 20-30 OF PANAMA THROWS OFFICIALLY THE PROJECT PUT OF THE TELETON 20-30, 2009.-

On the funds collected in the Teletón 20-30 2009 the opportunity one will be meeting to him to the Panamanian gait childhood, to see and to smile.

Panama, on August 19, 2009. – The Active Club 20-30 of Panama realized the official throwing of the Teletón 20-30 2009, with the presentation of his Advertizing Campaign Motivacional and with the announcement of the Project Goal that this year will be destined for diverse specialties, all of them focused in the childhood: Equipment of Rooms of Odontopediatría of the Hospital of the Child.

1. Construction and equipment of the Laboratory of Órtesis and Prosthesis of the National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Our professionals face every day cases of pathology of high complexity, before the disadvantage of not being provided with teams and services of support, and diagnosis specialized. This affects in the result of the treatments, since they disable the achievement of the same ones.

The members of the Active Club 20-30 of Panama, in his emulation for giving him the opportunity of a better tomorrow to the childhood most needed from our country, appeal once again to the solidarity of the Panamanian people, with the intention of obtaining the team necessary for the achievement of surgical treatments and of maxilo-facial reconstruction, returning this way the smile to so many children. Of equal form, across the Teletón 20-30 2009, one hopes to open a new world to thousands of children with problems of vision, enabling the Hospital of the Child with new specializing teams for retina operations.

On the other hand, and like third project goal, there is established the construction and equipment of the Laboratory of Òrtesis and Prosthesis of the National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. One hopes to make real the sleep of a big number of children who will be able to use themselves and have a better quality of life that is adapted to his form of life and is adapting itself while it grows.

In representation of all this childhood that puts his hopes to walk, to see and to smile in the Teletón 20-30 2009, Symbol was announced to Elián Jesus William Zúñiga, like the new Child. In spite of his young age, and of the difficulties that from his birth the life has presented to him, Elián is an example of struggle, positivism and desire of living every day to the maximum.

With the motto “What do my people donate” the Active Club 20-30 hopes to receive once again the support of the whole country that every December opens his heart before the need for thousands of children who realize his sleep across this love miracle; of this big example of solidarity named the Teletón 20-30, the Commitment of Panama.
